I have sailed quite a bit over the years, but only ever on other people's boats. In 2019 I passed the skippers' exam in Italy, where I have lived for longer than I care to remember, and so I'm keen to get some more experience, preferably doing some "serious" sailing on passages etc around the Med with people who know what they are doing. I'm pretty easy to get along with, I cook and don't mind helping out with any tasks.

I speak very good Italian, which may be of help if in Italian waters. I'm pretty accepting of anyone and anything, as long as I'm free to be myself. I like to be in company, but equally can handle long periods by myself.

This is not a job for me, so really looking for a friendly situation where I'm part of a team. Definitely not wanting to play the leader - it is a learning experience for me, but I'm confident of my ability to perform basic tasks. Have logged over 2500NM since 2020 including a number of night passages which I really enjoy.
