How exciting that you are checking out my profile! As a recent graduate in business administration , I have had some time to wonder what is next for Wouter. And I came to a pretty straight forward conclusion: "If I keep waiting for my dreams to happen, I might as well be waiting for a ship at an airport". (pun intended :D) So here I am packing my bags and diving in the deep corners of the world looking for enriching experiences while sharing the greatest sport in the world with likeminded individuals.

If you read past the introduction you might be wondering what does this guy have to offer. Well then, during my Bachelor studies I have had two major hospitality experiences. At Tesla Motors I represented the company during sales events where I spoke with countless individuals ranging from C level executives to farmers. My graduation internship at Feadship has allowed me to enter the minds of the richest individuals in the world interested in yachting. I have acquired very good social skills and I am therefor very capable of working in charter settings as well.

Teaching sailing on lakes to children in a 5 meter boat has taught me the fundamentals of sailing and how to interact in calm manners in all circumstances. Furthermore, I have my PADI Open Water certificate, I take ice baths for fun (so I won't complain about the cold) I play guitar , I enjoy cooking and am more than happy to assist although I have no educational background in it. (unless a ton of Master chef binge-watching counts)

I am always open to learning new stuff. Which brings me to my next point.

What better way to learn about the wonders of the world than to hands on experience them from up close. It is my dream, my cherished ambitions to travel the world doing that which I love to do the most. Sailing! I am also looking to get a little closer to myself and decide on how I want to spent the upcoming years of my life.

Gaining experience on any type of sailing vessel will also help me to further develop my sailing abilities as I am thinking about becoming a professional sailing instructor as well. I have a very international outlook due to my studies and I am very interested in other cultures and peoples live stories. Crewing on a yacht will feed this interest and hopefully teach me many valuable lessons which I will grave dearly for years to come.
