Introduction
Hi, I was introduced to the sailing world in 2017 on a small sunfish with a friend out in Hawaii. From there, we bought a small Annapolis 18' and an 18' catamaran to practice on the lakes in our desert land of AZ! However, that wasn't enough for me, I love sailing so much! In the summer of 2019, I headed for 3 weekend regattas on The Great Lakes in Michigan with a 5 team crew I had never met before! We sailed a Melges 24 and I served mostly on the main sail, but moved up to help with the spinnaker towards the end when a member had to leave. In November of 2019, I backpacked my way down from China through Southeast Asia over a period of 2 months and wound up in New Zealand where I met a sweet older gentleman to sail around the golf of Auckland for a week! Both of these crews, I met on Findacrew.net. I will be ready to depart again in 2020 once travel is permitted. Let me know if you're in need of a great crew member or deck hand and have a cool adventure ahead for me to learn from! Thanks!
