I'm Jules, potentially your next calm, enthousiastic, sociable, capable, adventurous crew member. I am currently studying anthropology in Amsterdam and work at a bar and as a musician (saxophonist) on the side).
Long story short I grew up in Namibia and moved to Europe about 5 years ago for studies. I also spent a year in New Zealand at 18 where I was introduced to sailing and have been enamored since.

The past few years I have joined skippers on numerous passages including sailing from Barcelona to Sweden, Gibraltar to the Canaries, and from New Zealand to Fiji. In July 2023 I finally got a dayskipper license in Zeeland the Netherlands where I was taught some of the finer points of sailing. I can also present a recomendation letter from a previous captain who I sailed under on different occasions.
I am interested in cultures, languages, nature and music amongst other things and love to travel light and spontaneously. Currently I'm busy with university but am willing to take time out for small passages and cool projects especially if they are conveniently close by
