My wife and I are experienced bare boaters and are looking for opportunities on sailboats or trawlers. In 2005 we both completed the following US Sailing courses from Offshore Sailing School in Florida: Basic Keel Boat, Basic Cruising and Bareboat Cruising. Since then we have chartered in BVI multiple times for multiple weeks, USVI, Croatia, Belize, Sea or Cortez, US San Juan Islands, The Grenadines and many trips from Long Beach California to Catalina Island and back and San Diego Bay day trips. I have been the skipper on most of these charters but we also enjoy being spoiled on a fully crewed charter. As we are getting older, we prefer to contribute more financially and have less duties as crew. Most of our experience is near coastal. We have limited offshore bluewater experience.

We are looking for opportunities to spend more time on the water. We are willing to travel just about anywhere for a special opportunity. Under special circumstances we may consider sharing a bareboat charter or even a crewed charter with the right people or group. My wife and I are easy going and are ready to help out on deck some but we are not looking for working crew positions. I am a retired firefighter and my wife is a retired middle school teacher. I am a PADI Dive Master and my wife is PADI Advanced Open Water certified. We love to sail, snorkel, dive, fish and hike.
