Update March 3: currently boat and dog sitting the boat in which we frosted the Atlantic, while the owners are back in their home country. I should be available in a couple weeks. Meantime if you want to meet in Martinique I'm free to move the boat around.

Hello! Bonjour! John here in Martinique seeking friends and sailing I can be a very competent team member. Ideally I'm hoping to go north to the USA. But any almost any other option would be better :)
I have now maybe 7000 miles of sailing after two long passages. I'm probably still green for my miles, as offshore sailing is easy going. I know how to sail but not race, although would like to learn. I like taking on responsibilities that I can handle. I also like staying active and fixing things. From my perspective, haha, I feel I have always become a very important crew or team mate to the boats and sailing I've been apart of.

I love travel, i love the ocean, i like adventure, sports, learning, building and fixing things or other challenges. I also enjoy new meeting people. I am mechanical or handy, being brought up in a construction family and being my own car and motorcycle/motocross mechanic i can be helpful or fast to learn in many situations. I desire to continue learning as well. I like volunteering and giving back to communities, traditions and the planet, in the same way I also enjoy hard work, dirty jobs, motorcycles and adrenaline. I think I got a good balance between a hippie and a blue collar attitude haha. Let you be the judge!
