I'm Michel, I normally live in my small sail boat in Barcelona but currently I'm currently visiting Thailand and in the look-out for any sailing opportunity in the area... 😉
I am a professional skipper with more than 10 years of experience chartering catamarans and monohulls, working as a sailing teacher and also as delivery skipper. I am certified by the RYA (Yachtmaster Offshore with commercial endorsement) and by the spanish maritime authorities (PPER). Based in Barcelona and living in a 34 feet sailing vessel I mainly work in the western Mediterranean area, but I also have blue water experience with one atlantic crossing (Key West-Cadiz) and several boat deliveries from the UK to Spain.
I speak native Spanish, English and German.
Passionate about sailing and all watersports, I'm also a true team player with a very easygoing character. I'm not an expert in maintenance, but owning a boat built in 1979 (Puma34) has made me quite resourceful in troubleshooting and quick repairs, especially in the plumbing, electrical and engine areas.
