Hi there, I have the opportunity 2019 to take a 6-month sabbatical from the rat-race. I would like to do this in South Pacific, possibly joining boat in New Zealand, and visiting South Pacific islands. I sailed around Mamanuca/Yasawa islands in Fiji June 2018, and it was amazing. I am easy to get on with, and am very clear that you are the captain and in charge! I am a good cook/galley hand, and will always do my share of boat-keeping. I used to have a little yacht myself, so am well aware of all the maintenance issues! I have sailed many times in Mediterranean and off UK South Coast, including solo night watches. I would prefer that your boat is at least 40ft, and no-one aboard smokes. I expect to pay my share of food/fuel/docking charges and my own personal expenses, but not maintain your boat.
