Looking for an offer I can’t refuse…2024 has been great!! July, in the beautiful North Channel, Ontario, Canada, on Windigo. June, 2 weeks Lesser Antilles, May, Tapachula MX to Puerto Vallarta MX...crewed 9 days on The Pacific Ocean aboard "Alcyone", 54' Hylas, 1117 nm nonstop. Had a great Captain and other crew. It was a success!!! Just sailed Tampa to Key West and return, ASA 106 offshore cruising, Dec 2023. July, flew into Erie, PA and sailed Lake Erie for 2 weeks. Had the privilege to crew on "Windigo" a beautiful 1985, 42' Endeavor cc . The first time I have ever sailed in fresh water. Had a wonderful 2 week sail until the last day and we endured 11 hours of storms....March 2023 crewed with a captain on an overnight Marco Island to Marathon. Very beautiful 1999, 36' Island Packet, cutter rig...From Marathon to Key West and back overnight to Marco. Sailed with an instructional group ASA106 on the beautiful sailboat "Flagship",1996 Island Packet from Tampa Bay to Key West and back. Helped crew on a delivery from Marathon, Keys to Saint Petersburg, FL...1986 Naughty Cat 44' Cutter rigged Catch. 2022 crewed on 40' Island Packet...race from St Petersburg, Florida to Isla Mejeres, Mexico, 4 days on the Gulf of Mexico, through the GULF LOOP twice .......AND back to St Pete. Captain/Instructor....obtained my asa 104 certification.......... Lately Greece, Puerto Rico, Bahamas. and Panama Canal...Mexico, Antigua, Guadeloupe, North Channel-Canada.
I have sailed several times on 39' Westerly, Ketch....crossing the Gulf Stream from Florida to The Bahamas, West to East and East to West....mostly on delivery. Sail/Crewed extensively in The Berry Islands, Abaco, Grand Bahama, Exuma, Long Island, Jumento Islands....love the cruising life. Sailing open water, 10 1/2 day sail from Newport, RI to the Caribbean, St John,USVI. Made delivery on a 45' Outbound, Cutter rig. Captain and 2 of us crew...non-stop, 4 hours on, 8 hours off, 1750nm.

I think of boat living as the ultimate home life. To be able to wake up and watch the sun come up on the water and then to see it go down as well. I have been diving since 1978...Dive Master by 1981. I just passed my entry level free-diving PADI course. When I was in the first grade I said I want to move to Florida and be a scuba diver....I got here when I was 19. Jaques Cousteau is my hero, always wanted to dive with him but did not get to. Applied to dive on the Atocha but they would not take girls back then... I have a great love and passion for the Ocean....hope to dive with the Whale Sharks in Mexico next May. I have read 165 sailboat books...all true stories. I hope to sail soon!!!
