I have been working as a captain in the Caribbean and South Pacific on week-long all-inclusive luxury charters for 2 and a half years.
Before this I ran my own charter boat start-up for 4 years, which helped to develop my leadership, communication and budgeting skills. My other relevant attributes are that I am friendly and accommodating, hands-on, eager to help out in all departments, professional and dedicated.
I am a PADI divemaster and am confident to lead qualified divers.
I hold my AEC and have good knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems and am confident in my ability to fix any unforeseen technical issues as they arise.
I have worked with many chef/1st mates in my current position and can bring along teammates to work as chef and deck/stew.
