Dear Shipmates
Introduction
My name is Dorota and I come from Poland, but for the last twelve years I have lived and worked in various parts of the world. Over four years ago I gave up my corporate career in London to live aboard a private yacht in the Caribbean. I served as a cook/stewardess there and later I also found a job as a baker and a pastry and dessert chef in one of the marinas in Grenada. I then moved to work on superyachts, both M/Y and S/Y in the Mediterranean and gained more skills and experience as a Cook and Stewardess. I love boat life, adventures it brings and moving to different parts of the world.

I lived and worked in various countries: Poland, UK, India, Grenada, Spain, Switzerland and Croatia and also held different positions, both of which gave me experience of working with diverse cultures as well as the ability to learn and adapt to a new job quickly. I like challenges and coming out of my comfort zone.
As a cook/chef I like to make guest and crew alike happy with my food and I always listen to what they like and base my coking on their preferences. I also love to cook out of my own initiative and creativity when needed. Preference for light healthy food but I also enjoy baking and making hearty meaty dishes according to preference. I also understand the crew might sometimes be missing their food from home and I like to learn about their cuisines and cook their favourite foods whenever possible.
I like to learn and expand my skills and to be challenged in the kitchen.
I am also a foodie with interest in healthy foods as well as cuisines from different parts of the world. When I travel I like to try local food wherever I am and incorporate new ingredients into my cooking. I understand boat life not only the fun of it but also its challenges. I like to learn new skills and although I am not a technical person I am always happy to help with any deck or technical jobs if needed.

I fell in love with living at sea and I want to continue living and working aboard a yacht as a cook/chef. I am looking for a paid job for the time being, but if it can be paired with adventures in remote parts of the world, even better!
