My name is Humberto, from Cuba, I am 38 years old, I am a graduated of the Naval Academy in Havana, in the faculty of merchant marine. I have a captain's license for vessels of up to 500 gross tonnage. Chieff mate for vessels of up to 3000 tons of gross tonnage and Deck officer without limitations. I also have a diving and driving license, certified computer skills, I speak fluent English, Spanish and Haitian Creole. I have 15 years of experience working at sea, 8 of them on commercial vessels (container ship, ASD Tug Boat, Ro-Ro Ship, and 3 years on yachts, during that time I have acquired knowledge in maintenance and operation of generators, main machines, air conditioners, compressors, water pumps, water makers , electricity, hydraulic systems, solar panels, outboard motors, plumbing, wood decks, painting works, diving equipment.
Also the domain of electronic charts, radars, gps Ais, echo sounders and navigation aid equipment. Security and protection of the ship and port facilities, as well as fire fighting techniques and other competencies that are reflected in my certificates, which I send attached. I also have experience in docking maneuvers and boat anchoring. I do not use tattoos. I am currently in Dominican Republic, available to work.
