Hi, I'm Garth! I grew up in the deserts and mountains of Utah. I have enjoyed many adventures including fishing, backpacking, riding four wheelers and water skiing on the local lakes. There are many places to visit and things to do here, but I have a desire to spend more time on the water. Ten years ago I got scuba certified and instantly fell in love with and gained respect for the ocean. Some of my favorite dive locations are in Florida, Mexico, California, and the Caribbean. I am Rescue Diver certified. I have logged over 100 dives and love to dabble in underwater photography. Seven years ago I quit my job in healthcare (23 years) to work at Lake PowelI in Utah. I started as a Mate and now have my Master 100 GRT Inland with assistance towing. My job is seasonal at Lake Powell. I'm single and have nothing tying me down. I would like to get more experience on near costal waters. I think crew on a private vessel, dive/snorkel boat or tow vessel would be a good place for me to gain the experience I'm looking for. I'm a hard worker, I'm handy, and I'm easy to get along with.
