Introduction
Hi All, retired and able to travel anywhere to crew on my dime. I'm a seasoned sailor (Racing & Cruising) that is fit and comfortable in all roles. I'm currently available for short deliveries/races/rallies, and should be able to do longer runs (more than 6 weeks) by mid November. I am outgoing and a team player. I’m cruising on my Sabre 386 out of CT, but enjoy building ocean miles whenever possible, especially to/from the Caribbean. I’m contemplating an extended live aboard and cruise all around Long Island Sound and beyond with the right crew. Definitely want to frequent Block Island & Newport RI. I ran a competitive ocean racing program out of Annapolis for years and would love to get down there. Let’s Talk! P.S. I am in the process of getting my Outdoor Emergency Care certification for Ski Patrol and I could be helpful as a MED-PIC if needed.
I am familiar with various weather routing tools and have been watch captain for several ocean races and deliveries.

Junior sailing from age 10-17, one-design racing for 20+ years. Sailing instructor at Boston Sailing center for 2 summers(1988–1989). Offshore deliveries and racing for the past 12 years. Recently wrapped up my own Offshore/coastal racing campaign after 8 years on my Carkeek 40 out of Annapolis, MD. I have dealt with pretty much all weather off-shore except for a hurricane. I am even-keeled and very safety conscious. I'm an experienced watch leader, skipper/helmsman and navigator whether racing or passage making.
I'm retired, so I have a fair amount of flexibility with respect to schedules given enough planning/lead time and I can pay my way.

I'm looking to sail as much as possible. I'm very motivated to help with a passages to the Caribbean, and doing Heineken Regatta, Antigua Sailing Week, RORC, etc. type races. I did a 10 day delivery from Newport to St. Thomas USVI and thoroughly enjoyed it.
