Made my first Atlantic crossing mid 2014, as a skipper for a Catana 43" from south of France to northern Brazil with stopovers in Tarifa, Cadiz, Canarias and Cape Verde. Previously, I sailed more than 1.600 miles into one of the most challenging offshore sailing races in the Rio de la Plata, the "Regata Buenos Aires - Rio de Janeiro" that February.
Later, skippered a Catana 43 from Angra dos Reis, BRA to Martinique with a stopover in Fernando de Noronha. In July 2017 I had been signed as skipper for a Lagoon 45 in Sardinia. 11 crew aboard a few with some experience. Sailing from Olbia to southern Corsica, along Maddalena Strait.
I'm passionate about sailing, boats, the sea and nature. I started sailing at 8 yro in Optimist, later had the chance to sail in Cadet, Snipe and Soling. I also have accumulated a bunch of miles sailing and competing in keel boats..
I'm considered as a good helmsman. Can handle deck tasks easily and sail trimming. It's said I'm good at it! Handy, easy learner, skilled and creative. And I also do decently well at the galley!.
Open minded guy, easy related to other people. I'm strong and healthy. I love to be in shape, I do training, swimming, running and MTB/biking as a basis. Committed to fight plastic fm our oceans. Conservationist.
