I reside in Tinley Park IL and for the last 15 years have grown to love to sail. I previously owned 3 small sailboats with experience on Lake Michigan as well as inland lakes. My previous Hobie Cat 16' taught me plenty about sailing dynamics. I have enjoyed sailing with a boat leasing company since 2013 and have sailed 5 of their boats from Chicago harbors on Lake Michigan; the largest a 41' Morgan. I have spent a good amount of time on a friends 33' Seawind catamaran out of lower Michigan. A recent trip to the island of St. Croix, USVI where I experienced blue water sailing was exhilarating.
Along with my USCG license, I also hold a certificate in Safe Power Boat Handling from US Powerboating.
