Been skippering and crewing actively for 30+ years on numerous sail and power vessels, ranging from dinghies, offshore yachts and one-design sailboats.
Have predominantly worked in the marine/yachting business for over 30 years including rigging, splicing, hardware and mast installation, maintenance, electrical, some engine work, sailmaker, etc.
At present holding a 100 Ton Masters Near Coastal license.

I love the yachting life. Living on boats, being on long blue water voyages. I do well under a rotational watch system and enjoy the rigors of maintaining a vessel and all its components underway, and at port. I've spent many years gaining knowledge and experience in and around yachts and feel confident and comfortable in handling most situations. And when it comes down to it, if I had millions of dollars I would own a boat and take family and friends out on it and show them a good time and entertain them with my love of the sea... and cook some delicious food for them. So, as I don't have millions of dollars and need to earn a living, I choose to follow the same plan course of working on boats and helping people enjoy themselves at sea... and cook some delicious food for them
