I started sailing on beautiful Lake Michigan when I was 22. Since then I've owned, maintained and skippered my own 26' S2 sloop and co-owned 42' Whitby ketch. I've logged many offshore miles and have sailed through some heavy weather! Lived aboard for two years in the Caribbean and loved it. Whenever I can, I sail.

I've sailed for 30 years on the Great Lakes, and crewed on deliveries from BVI/Bermuda/East Coast USA. Worked to refit my co-owned ketch and sailed her down from Beaufort NC to BVI on the fringe of TS Sean in 2011. Lived aboard for two years and loved the life. I have been fortunate to sail in Europe and Asia and the Americas on many boats, learning and making friends as I go. I enjoy travel and experiencing nature, people, history, languages, and cultures. I am cheerful company, like a good laugh, cooking a nice meal, and interesting conversation. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling/diving/ kayaking, hiking, nature, yoga, reading. I am happy to help with cooking, boat tasks and stand a night watch.
