I'm a professional mariner working under power and sail. I live aboard my little sloop, a Catalina 27 on Vancouver Island, Canada where I work in the tourism industry as a boat skipper running adventure and ecological tours, I am at sea almost every day of my life.
I am an experienced sailor holding RYA Day Skipper and CYA qualifications I will take the Yachtmaster exam at some point. I bring a constantly open to learning attitude with an interest in plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems. I have experienced a few yacht deliveries crossing the Atlantic as First mate on a Beneteau 54 and a Lagoon 440. I have experience as a private Captain for a high profile family and I am familiar with working discreetly under a non disclosure agreement. I also have schooner sailing experience on a Meta Damien and love old wooden boats, currently I work as First Mate on the oldest working vessel on the Canadian West Coast, a 93' schooner.
My passion is being involved with the worldwide marine community and I am open to meeting new people, making friends and helping out where I can, either paid or unpaid.
