I'm a Kiwi working & living in Berlin, after having also lived in Melbourne and London many years ago. I'm passionate about the things I love; people, stories and food. I work as an event manager with a focus on supporting and developing artists and creators, while constantly daydreaming about next adventures...
I'm a relaxed and friendly type, always up for a joke and a smile. Whilst I love people and sharing experiences, I respect others privacy and space. I'm quite happy with my own company and I'm very tolerant of others (or actively try to be!). I'm totally willing & happy to pitch in and do my bit, and to help out in whatever way I can.
Over the years, I've also discovered I rather like being on the water. I've had some wonderful opportunities to sail and explore via this site and a few others. I also started doing some basic sailing lessons out on the lakes in Berlin, still very rusty, but slowly slowly adding bits of knowledge to the pile so I can keep on adventuring - hopefully long term.

I work full time in Berlin, and generally I'm open to short trips throughout the year and slightly longer in the summer. Right now (Jan/Feb 2025) I'd love a little escape if anyone's got one going! Otherwise I'm open to summer plans, or longer/further afield trips, although these need some advance planning/notice (like, quite a bit) :)

What feels like many moons ago now, I went traipsing around SE Asia for six months. This started a passion for the road and as such has kind of directed my life around it. From sailing in Wakatobi and watching multiple animal sacrifices in Tana Toraja, to chasing elephants in the jungle and roaming in Europe at every possible opportunity, I'm constantly inspired by new places, cultures and people (and their food!) and as such am constantly daydreaming of my next adventure whilst working.
