I'm a retired seafarer having had over 60+ years sea time. I have served 30+ years as Master in the Merchant Navy & also RNZNR, Employed by a number of shipping companies in a variety of trades over the years. Have visited a considerable number of countries worldwide, including over 70 different ports. I spent my last working years on the NZ Cook Strait passenger ferries (Interislander) as Master. My sailing/cruising experience is extensive, using own & chartered yachts since a teenager. If you want a delivery or somebody to assist you with out any hassles, I'm your man.

I'm a professional seafarer, having spent all my working life at sea, mainly in the MN. I've been retired since 2000, and have occupied most of my retirement with directorships, deliveries, (mainly yachts-m/vessels including single handed), playing golf, travelling and property management.
My cruising experience started as a youngster and continues to the present. I sold my own Beneteau Oceanis 40' yacht a few years ago, in which we cruised extensively in the South Pacific region. I'm in excellent health, and very easy to get on with. Because of my professional knowledge and background experience, you will be guarantee a safe and expeditious voyage, God willing. My most memorable voyage was to crew on the Tall Ship "Tenacious" doing a delivery from Melbourne to Nelson via Tasmania.

My nautical qualifications include: Certificate of Competency, Master Mariner FG, plus all applicable STCW 95 endorsements, sea going licenses & medicals, Extra Master (part A & Orals). Have attended numerous management, VCA and other nautical courses, hold a number of Pilotage Exemption Certificates, also a PPL (flying). All my certificates, medicals and licenses have now lapsed due to insufficient sea/air time but can be updated if required.

I expect to have all my expenses covered i.e. "all found" (e.g. transfers, flights, food and board etc.) . An agreed commission on a safe arrival is certainly appreciated.
