Experienced adventurer living on the Eastern Shore of Maryland & always looking to jump on a boat as crew and a cook. Ready to go wherever the winds may take me. With a passion for exploration and a strong sense of adventure, I'm open to meeting up anywhere a vessel awaits. Happy to work in the galley (plan, provision, cook, and clean) as much as you'll allow, and do my share to crew, keep watch, & help sail.

In Dec 2022 I hopped aboard the Endeavor 43 in Cuba in Dec 2022 as a cook. Previously, I've served as crew and cook on various vessels, including inter-coastal waters of the Whitsunday Islands (52" CAT), sailing the BVI (38' mono), and an Atlantic crossing from Connecticut to Bermuda to St John (J44!?). I also joined an environmental mission in Costa Rica (motorboat) (see FindACrew reference).

I have demonstrated my cooking talents for private parties, retreats, and aboard sail and motorboats, handling everything from provisioning to preparing delicious meals and maintaining an organized and clean galley.

Beyond the nautical realm, I've also helped those in need. In September '22, I spent a month in the Ukraine, cooking for refugees escaping the war, and dedicated a month to cooking meals for migrants in Mexico in 2023.

Age is just a number, and at 65 years young, I'm in really good physical shape. I keep active through yoga, enjoy a good game of chess, and love to swim. Additionally, my creative side flourishes as an artist & playwright – you'll find a unique blend of practicality and imagination within me.
