My wife and I have recently moved to beautiful Bella Coola on BC's Central Coast. Most of my boat piloting experience is with power yachts, though I have done several sailing passages. In the next couple of years I'll be looking to purchase a sailing boat to live on, so the more experience I get now, the fewer and less expensive mistakes I'll make later. Also as a diver the more time I spend on a boat the more marketable I am for some of the better jobs out there such as live-aboards and research vessels. I'm especially interested in getting some practice at steerage of some mid-sized vessels(35ft+) and open water navigation. That all makes me sound very serious and business-like, which is good, but I'm also interested in whatever recreational trips you may have planned so let me know.
