I began my sailing career in February 2008 in Guatemala. I sailed in the Western Caribbean, from Guatemala to Honduras, and north to Mexico, on a 32foot cutter. From Mexico to the Azores, I crewed on a Hans Christian 37 that was being delivered from Guatemala to Greece. After completing the last leg of the trans-Atlantic passage, I was boatsitting in southern Spain in August and September.
Since then I have crewed on various tourist day-snorkel-sails in the Western Caribbean, and various deliveries throughout the Eastern US coast and western Caribbean, including crewing on a 52-ft catamaran delivery from Honduras to Florida.
After completing my STCW in 2012, I spent the 2012 - 2013 season as 1st mate on a 106' private yacht. I captained a 27foot sloop this summer from New Jersey to South Carolina, mostly through the ICW.
