Ahoy. My name is Alexei. I worked and traveled in over 45 countries. My life is all about adventure. I am free spirited and independent thinker. People see me as honest and trustworthy. I love the ocean, and sailing, learning about different cultures, and contributing to the life of others. I am a certified diver, and a kite-surfer. I have a fair amount of experience with engines, and can troubleshoot basic issues, and a pretty solid knowledge of electronics, computers, etc. I have some experience as a photographer, and a cameraman (video editing as well), just in case it can be useful. Oh, and in case you care about certification, I have ASA Bareboat Chartering, and the Spinnaker cert. I’ve sailed for 19 years, and been a full time sailor for five years now. My previous experience includes Software Engineering, and Product Management in the fields of Machine Vision and Artificial Intelligence. I am currently doing research in Computational Ethics.
