Dear Shipmates

Introduction

My Name is Jeff and for 2024 I am sailing up and down the East Coast of the US with my two pup Skylar and MayBelle. I work part time remotely via Star Link but my responsibilities are shrinking allowing me more time to travel! Motoring down the ICW is doable solo, but I'm really looking forward to some crew for the offshore sails!

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

Must love dogs. I love my pups but they do make the boat a bit messy and they do shed. They love the water and are good boat dogs and are well behaved. I keep the boat tidy, but spotless would be a full time job with the dogs on board. My boat was just hauled out for bottom paint and was surveyed 2 years ago. She's in fine condition but is a 24 year old boat. I hope to upgrade the solar and inverter by time we get to the islands to be able to run the AC off the battery bank! Tis' the dream. I am a fairly conservative sailor, and end up motoring a fair amount. We help of the crew I hope to get the sails up more! I have lived aboard for the last 2 years and know my boat well, but look forward to tackling longer passages with the help of crew. I have 2 open cabins that share a head/shower. The owners hull has a full size shower and hot water if the engines are run for a bit. There is plenty of space for a couple to come aboard. Fridge space is likely the limiting factor. I'm not sure what else to write here, but I'm an open book and a generally an easy going good guy, so if you have any questions let me know!

I'm looking for someone that is equally easy as going as myself. Daily tasks and chores are expected to be split. Same with cooking. I will take care of the dogs, unless you want to help out there. I will cover all boat/marina costs. I will cover the basic food / drink cost, but if you have expensive tastes we'll need to figure that out! I'm looking for crew that likes to have a sundowner but I do not want to babysit anyone that constantly drinks too much...
