I have recently bought this boat as it is a proven blue water yacht. Although a bit older she has been outfitted with twin roller fullings forward as well as solar, larger tanks etc. I am in the process of adding more solar, an AIS system along with upgrading what I can. The previous owners have sailed her in the Sea of Cortez for over 25 years.

I am looking for someone that will enjoy learning her inside and out over the next 6 months. Once we are comfortable with her and have upgraded everything required, we will take her through the Panama Canal to the Caribbean. Prior to the Caribbean I am open to sailing up and down the coast, or into the Sea of Cortez. I do have a friend that has sailed full time for the past 27 years that will fly back with his wife and assistance in the initial trip.

I have more power boat experience than sail, having boats over 60 feet in my past. I am a licensed scuba dive master and have lived on one of my yachts for over a year. Although I have friends through my Yacht club that will sail locally with me, I would rather find someone that has the desire to travel long distances together, so getting along is mandatory.

Although I am open to relationships, my main emphases is on finding a sailing partner. If your younger, but experienced, I am still open to talking regarding crew positions only.

Although I am a clean freak on land, the water leads a different lifestyle. Being 44 feet overall, at her age she can feel a bit cramped inside. There are two cabins and one head. I am adding a new refrigerator and upgrading the galley now.
