Dear Shipmates

Introduction

Hello, for the past 50 years I have been fortunate to do recreational and professional boating, both sailing and motor. Some sailing events include competing in numerous ocean races (including 5 Sydney Hobart Yacht Races). Now I own a power vessel and coastal cruise.

My vessel was built to survey and initially used for charter. Since 2017, I withdrew it from charter and use it recreationally, keeping all safety gear to survey standards.

I am seeking 2 or 3 people, with some seagoing experience, to assist me taking my 11 meter power cruiser from Gosford (NSW) to Airlie Beach (Qld).

The aim is to leave Gosford in May 2025, making numerous harbours stops along the way. As the trip will be weather dependent, I ask that each crewmember be flexible with time and to be able to take responsibility for managing the vessel.

Travelling to Airlie Beach; onboard food, marina fees, fuel and maintenance will be at my expense.
