I am RYA Cruising Instructor, RYA YM Offshore. Looking for 1 or 2 crew members to sail a Rustler 31 long-keel classic sailboat along Odysseus's route around the Ionian Islands – Lefkas, Meganisi, Ithaca, Kefalonia, and Zakynthos.
May - June, September - October 2025

The Rustler 31 is renowned for its seaworthiness and performance in all weather conditions. These boats are highly valued as both fast coastal cruisers and long-distance passage-makers, having made long ocean passages.
This is an excellent opportunity for both novices and experienced sailors to enhance or learn sailing skills on a classic sailboat. You will also get hands-on experience in preparing the boat for sailing while still on the ground in the boatyard. You will be able to take part in rigging sails, installing an autopilot, changing the oil, performing a complete engine check, installing new batteries, checking electrical systems, installing a new water tank and seawater pump, and assessing the overall condition of the boat. This practical experience is particularly valuable for those who are new to sailing and plan to purchase their own boat in the future – knowledge you won’t typically get at a yachting school.
We will launch the boat and begin sailing from Preveza. This is a non-commercial venture; you will only need to contribute to onboard costs such as food, fuel, and occasional marina fees (though we will anchor overnight in 90% of cases). Further details in PM
