Dear Shipmates

Introduction

Pacific cruising from February/March 2026.

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

usually cleancomfortablevery safevessel is survey certified

We - Simon (67), and Gemma (56) - will be starting across the Pacific in early 2026 and are looking for like-minded couples to join us for one, or more, of the various passages of the trip.

Crew will be us and one other couple for each passage ie. a total of four people aboard. Passages are likely to be of one to three weeks duration.

We are looking for crew for Panama to the Marquesas Islands via Galapagos (February/March 2026); and then further westwards towards New Zealand/Australia.

We are looking for enthusiastic couples with sailing experience, who will be confident with night watches. Ocean experience is not necessary. You could join us for one, or multiple passages (not necessarily contiguous).

All duties onboard are shared, as are the day-to-day costs (though not repairs, which we are responsible for).

Of course this is a fair way off but we'd like to give plenty of opportunity to anyone interested to get to know us and, of course, to make plans.

What is expected of the crew

clean & tidyenthusiasticfriendlypositive outlookcan pay own expensesdon't mind cleaning

We are looking for a good-natured couple with sufficient sailing experience to be comfortable with both day and night watches. Sailing plans rarely run exactly to plan so a flexible attitute is also important!

The vessel is a 'damp' boat: a couple of beers or glasses of wine with the evening meal is the norm, though inevitably this is weather dependent.
