Dear Shipmates

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

We sailed the boat from Netherland to Dakar last year. We did a lot of adjustment to the boat like the windvane windsteering which works very good now.

What is expected of the crew

On our way to Tanzania we are very happy to welcome people to sail with us. The first step , from Netherlands to Cyprus is done. The next step is to do the Suez and the red sea, where we will spend time with the dolphins and whales, when ever we meet them. After that, we will get to the Seychelles. There we also spend at least 1 month, before we go to Tansania.
It's possible to join a part of the trip or the whole. We like to explore the countries and islands on the way.
We also like to eat good food . The boat is very stabil, with one layer of oak and mahagoni, sealed with epoxy. There are at least 8 good sails, a good Volvo engine, an autopilot, Ais and a windsteering. This time we need to charge 50€ / week for maintenance and washing the sheeds from the bed. If someone likes to join only for the red sea, we will charge a bit extra, if someone is very experienced and sailed single handed before, we can drop this costs. Till now I got some horrible experience with people, one even thought,he is professional, but always asked me, when he should go into the wind to get the sails down, where the wind is coming from and than he went through the wind. He damaged many things on the boat and was a danger for all of us. I don't need a certificate, if someone can sail.
