Hello! My name is Scott and I have been sailing around on my Beneteau 411. I stopped working a couple of years ago to go seek some new adventures. The last two years have gone all over the Bahamas making it as far down as the Raggeds. For the most part I have been solo on the boat while typically running with at least one other boat.
This season I would like to go thru the Bahamas and maybe the Turks & Caicos, DR, Puerto Rico, and maybe onward. Needless to say my plan is pretty flexible and part will likely depend on meeting up with some new boats to run with and of course the weather.
Decided it would be nice to have someone else along this time around to help with watches, get fish on the boat, and just to enjoy the adventure with. I am always up for snorkeling, fishing, exploring new islands, or a bonfire on a beach. Some sailing experience is preferred however I can teach you if not. Main thing is I am looking for someone that wants to share the adventure without a bunch of drama!
Currently it is early December '24 and I am headed south down the east coast of FL. My plan is to leave right after the first of the year from Ft Lauderdale to cross to the Bahamas. Ideally you would join me in Lauderdale but could also make plans to join up a bit later in Nassau or Georgetown.
