We are in the process finding a crew for our cutting-edge tech catamaran (see pics in my profile) that is currently under construction / will be first launched for tests in May 2024 / final launch will be in October 2024. Seeking a CAPTAIN, as the owner representative during the building phase, as well as a FIRST MATE. The boat is in Southampton / production is in full swing. The boat is a full carbon / Nomex construction with a length of 30m and 14m width. It will be equipped with electric engines, 20 kWp solar panels, a 100 kW generator and 330 kWh batteries, all systems are built to sail short-handed and the boat will be able to sail speeds up to 30 knots.

Your responsibilities:
• Owner Representative Management
• Safety Management and course planning
• Crew Management and coordination
• Communication with crew, authorities, and other vessels
• Emergency Response Management and decision-making.
What we expect from you:
• Min. 5 years experience as professional sailor
• Have at least 50K nm and ocean crossing experience
• Team spirit and adaptability
• Passion for the sea and sailing
• Quick comprehension and a solution-driven mindset
• Proficiency with state-of-the-art technology
• Ideally regatta experience with fast sailing boats and with high-end technology
