Join a Sailing Adventure in the Beautiful Turkish Waters!

Are you ready to embark on a relaxing and culturally rich sailing journey? As a well-experienced sailor, I invite you to join me for an unforgettable adventure in the stunning Turkish coastal region. I have sailed extensively, including a 4-week expedition in this area last summer. I'm acquainted with both the local sailing conditions and the rich Turkish culture.

What to Expect:
- Nature and Culture: Explore beautiful natural landscapes, swim in crystal-clear waters, and experience local culture and people.
- Overnight Stays: We will anchor in serene bays or small marinas each night.
- Shared Responsibilities: On board, we share daily tasks like cooking and cleaning, fostering a sense of community and teamwork.
- Weather permitting, we will sail approximately 4 to 5 hours each day and overnight anchor in bays or more in small marinas.

A perfect few days for me out on the water looks like sailing part of the day and experiencing good wind, hoping to rarely fire up the engine. Finding a beautiful bay, anchor down in time for a swim (skinny dipping, where and if it doesn't bother the local population).

I am a recreational sailor/skipper with sailing experience on yachts up to 70 ft and have sailed Norway, France, Italy, Croatia, Turkey, Greece and Transatlantic (Lanzarote to Martinique). From 2009 through 2019 I was President of the Swiss Sailing Club. My wife, a landlubber who honors my passion for sailing, will not be joining us tis time.

The Dufour 350 has three cabins for 2 people each and is approved for a maximum of 8 people. To allow enough privacy, I would like to travel with a total of three (max. four); a "couple" could share a cabin.
The crew can assist with sailing maneuvres, including anchoring or mooring at a marina. I am happy to guide less experienced crew members.
On my trips I prefer anchorages over marinas and use the engine mainly to get in and out of anchorages, generally prefer quiet over crowded but might be persuaded now and then.

Getting yourself to and from the boat from your own location is your own responsibility. I shall not be responsible for any of your travel costs to and from the boat. Please be capable of covering all of your personal expenses.
This is not a paid position, and we share costs whilst on board.
On board we do all the work together (sailing, cooking, washing dishes, ...).
