Hello my name is John I’ve been sailing for many years in many different seas and oceans. I am a Boat Captn’ and instructor I teach boating and sailing boat maintenance and boat restoration if you’re interested in learning new skills.
I teach which is what I do in between boat delivery Job‘s and then I call back on people that I teach to see if they want to work with me doing deliveries. have the books to teach ASA classes but I’d prefer to teach more comprehensive actual real life sailing as a Coast Guard Captin and multiple decades sailing I like to cut through the fluff and teach you things that are important to the type of sailing that you want to do I tailor each of my classes to the students needs wants and desires I’m stationed out of a very large marina on the military base that has multiple different types of sailing vessels and motor vessels of which I try to incorporate into my classes along with a good dose of history because of the wide variety of boats you can see the evolution of sailing and things that work and options that didn’t work as well I also teach Navigation and have access to Celestial Navigation coursework also which I can include into your classes if you so desire.
