Dear Shipmates

Introduction

Hello! Off grid 2 cabin 1 head aluminum centerboarder, looking for crew for coastal and offshore hops this spring and summer. Have sailed down to Grenada, USVI, and offshore from USVI to Chesapeake directly. Cape Hatteras was a big ride, saw 58 kts of wind max and some very large seas before peeling out of the Gulfstream.

We are heading back to the West Indies in 2025 and are looking for a crewmember to help with that passage, likely 10-14 days depending upon weather. We've sailed from USVI to the Chesapeake directly, and although that amount of time at sea is manageable with only 2 people, a 3rd would break up watches a bit more and allow for more rest.

So far longest offshore passage has been 16 days and was a great learning experience. We know there is a ton more to learn and explore, and another crewmember adds so much more rest into the sailing watch schedule.

Accommodations:
Private aft cabin with a double bed, shared head.

Mindfulness/meditation, exploring new places, sailing, skiing, photography, adventure travel.

New standing and running rigging in 2021.
Hydranet sails.
New autopilot 2022
New staysail 2024
Liferaft recert 2024
New EPIRB 2024

Cheers!

We are a team, and people we have aboard are part of that team working together to explore some pretty cool parts of the planet. Basically, show up with your kit and lend a hand with the watches, galley, sail trimming/changes, anchoring, etc. and share your knowledge with us. Our last guest aboard didn't do much in the way of communal tasks (cooking, cleaning, maintenance) but at least they were really good at getting rid of our rum.... hoping to not repeat that experience. We ❤️ to meet and hang with new people and party, but our nights out until 2am don't happen very often anymore.

The boat is well founded, French aluminum centerboarder cutter rig. All standing and running rigging was completed in 2021, we fly a Hydranet main and 130 Genoa, along with an A3, J1, Reacher and storm jib. Enough to keep us moving in 5 to 58 knots so far!

If you made it this far, thanks for reading!
