Over my life, I have been a professional race car driver, Business owner, Pilot (single engine and weight shift), Mechanical Engineer, Mechanic, Fabricator, Welder, Scuba diver, etc. I recently started learning to kite board. I have been on countless adventures both in my plane and on my boats. I have maintained several boats, both motor and sail and I recently finished the complete refit of a 2004 Jaguar 36 catamaran (22 ft beam) for some serious cruising in the Bahamas. Its nicely set up for being off grid with plenty of solar and a water maker. I've sailed it all over the pan-handle, the keys and to the Bahamas including 2 months sailing around the Exumas this past October-December. I am available to do some exploring on the Florida coast and through out the Bahamas from now till mid-December 2022. I am also looking at another possible excursion end of January to as late as end of February 2023. I typicaly spend 2-3 months a year sailing and cruising and do tend to like to go to the Bahamas I am pretty flexible and am happy to share the adventure as well as my knowledge and skills to anyone. I am proficient with boat maintenance, repair, and navigation and have no problem single handing the my newly purchased Fountain Pajot Lipari 41 catamaran. The boat is based in New Bern NC currently. Finding a soulmate to join me would be a huge plus.
