Dear Shipmates

Introduction

Dear (novice) sailors/ crew,
April -September 2025 sailing the Wadden Sea & North Sea.
Already planned several trips with pencil for 2025. Crew is welcome for a few days or a few weeks.
At the beginning of April the boat will go on shore for maintenance, then sail again.
The plan for 2025, starting mid April, I will sail to the North sea-Waddenzee.
The Wadden islands as Texel, Vlieland, Terschelling & Ameland are on the agenda. Including a 'circumnavigation' of Noord Holland.
For example, a round trip North Holland is on the cards in from April 25th until May 2nd, followed by a visit to the Marker Wadden Sea in May 3rd-4th. Then a week at the Wadden Sea from Pentecost onwards.
End of May there is another circumnavigation of North Holland, starting in Enkhuizen.
While visiting the islands do some walks over the islands, enjoy the holidays.
In principle I intent to anchor at night or stay in a port, no plans yet for night sailing. So the trip will be planned on day-sailing.
Some sailing will be combined with events of the Etap club, so with other boats as well.
The boat an 8m Etap is in good shape, and can in principle be sailed from the cockpit.
She has 3 beds, 2 in the front, so you will have your own space.
As a crew member, I expect you to participate in the sailing, keep the boat tidy and safe. If you have limited skills and are open to learn, we will get there. I can teach you.
If you are skilled? feel free to sail yourselves. If you can cook, there is a stove, feel free ;). I can also cook, so that will be sorted out as well.
Myself, I am very familiar with the Dutch waters, strong focus on safety, maybe a bit direct (as I am Dutch?) but with a good intent ;).
Interested to join? Extra hand always welcome.
If you are a novice? Good opportunity to learn sailing.
If you are experienced? Always welcome, we can share knowledge and experiences.
Preferably we have contact in advance. So do not hesitate to contact me.

Best regards,
Joris
