Introduction
Sailing bug has hit me a couple of times in my life, but circumstances prevented me from really taking off before. This time I went through a 3 year journey of getting instruction and sea miles under my belt and bought myself a wonderful boat and I've been sailing her slowly up the coast of California. Currently in San Francisco and I'd like to poke around a bit. Ultimate goal is to finish going up the coast and into the PNW, but I don't think that's happening this year.
I'm a semi-retired business owner that lives in Portland, OR. I'm a moderately decent cook and a bad guitar player.

The boat is an Island Packet 370. A perfect cruising boat, but won't win any races. Summer 2024 is about bopping around the San Francisco area in a relaxed manner.

Just looking for good companions that can keep a watch and handle lines when needed. This is a no-smoking boat, but crew must be comfortable with vaping on board. I need an extra hand around as I've just recovered from some surgery a couple months ago, and while I feel like I'm back to nearly 100% it would be prudent to have someone else around just in case. I'm covering all expenses except restaurant food ashore. Someone familiar with SF Bay's destinations would be ideal.
