After three years of preparation, I left for a trip around the world with my sailboat. After working as an Emergency Nurse for many years, I resigned at the end of April 2022 and left for my trip around the world in mid-July 2022. I am currently in Aruba. After the hurricane season I wil continue to head north , Dominican Republic and Caribbean Islands and return via the Azores back to Europe Mediterranean. I am looking for a crew member(s) who share my passion for sailing and discovering the world, new countries and cultures, wandering the seas/oceans. I am looking for someone who will join me for a longer period, someone who can put things into perspective, has humor, is enthusiastic, sociable and enjoys life.

My boat is a Koopmans 35 steel, which I purchased in 2019 and after which a complete refit took place. Ready for a trip around the world. It is a stable sailor with the comforts of a 35 ft boat. I myself have extensive sailing experience, having sailed on the Indian Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, sailed many times solo for instance to Norway, and sailed on the North Sea many times.
