Dear Shipmates

Introduction

Hi,my name is Ben. I built my catamaran over a period of 3 years and she was launched in 2011.
Since then i have sailed her over 15000 miles, including bass strait and pacific islands.
She is light, fast and seaworthy. Built with simplicity and a minimilist attitude.
All electrical power comes from solar and wind and she sails so easily that hardly any fuel is burnt.
She is a happy boat, so many good times and adventures have been had aboard.
Built with the idea that finding beauty in the natural world and leaving a light footprint is a good enough way to live.

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

I’m planning a trip to Indonesia, starting mid September.
There’s two options for crewmates to join the boat, one being Brisbane to cairns, and then cairns to Indonesia.
Ideally I’d find crew that could do some coastal sailing, before heading offshore, to make sure everyone is getting along and happy.

The planned timeline is mid September departure from Brisbane,4 weeks coastal sailing to cairns, and then continuing on to Indonesia via Thursday island.

What is expected of the crew

Currently based in Brisbane.
Looking for easy going crew who have common sense. Sailing experience not crucial. A healthy positive attitude goes a long way, after all the point is to have fun..
