My partner and I are looking for a crew member that would act as part stew, part deck hand, part go-fer, etc. We are a professional couple both working remotely from our catamaran currently in the US Virgin Islands. We need help with all the basic chores from cleaning, occasional cooking, helping with laundry and water runs, replacing deck screws, possibly sewing, possible wood work staining, handing me tools if I'm in the engine room because I always forget something I need, etc. In exchange, we'd provide provisions on board and off while you were with us (i.e. crew dinner), your own spacious cabin, and time off to enjoy the US Virgin Islands as well as Puerto Rico, Culerbra and Vieques.

The boat is a 1995, 51' Privilege catamaran. I used to run day charters out of St Thomas, US Virgin islands. Lately I've just been sailing around exploring, and working remotely as a software developer. My girlfriend is in corporate finance and business development. We just don't have time for basic chores and would love help. I'm the owner/captain. We do have a Golden Retriever on board, Hope, so please be dog friendly also.

We love adventure. You'd have time off by yourself (2 to 3 days a week), or adventuring with us. We like to dive and golf and day drink and generally have fun. Music is almost always going, unless Kate has a conference call. We need somebody to clean, help with laundry, occasionally cook, and help with basic boat maintenance. I'll probably give you certain projects that will require you to research, formulate a plan, take the dingy to the marine store to purchase materials, then execute the task.
