Dear Shipmates

Introduction

This yacht is the place to be. She's a comfortable and safe ship, that never disappointed. She crossed the Atlantic, which was a wonderful ride. The regular crew tends to be quite young (17/15/12/12), so that for longer passages a bit older crew replaces that crew. Therefore I am looking for crew mates here to fill the gap. I do not sail for racing (while I don't mind good sailing speed), but to see the world. I love being in new places, learning new things, and meeting new people.

Currently we are on the Baltic, based out of Lübeck/Travemünde. We are a family crew. Plans are always changing and ideas we have plenty. On the bucket list we have Caledonian Canal, Bretagne, a second trip to Galicia, the Channel Islands, another Atlantic crossing, the Caribbean and always the next MidsummerSail. The planet is huge and beautiful, one life time is not sufficient to see it all. I'm looking for crew that is interested in joining for shorter trips here on the Baltic as well as people who want to take on the challenge of ocean sailing, mostly for transfers.

There are no high expectations as it relates to sailing experience. This year's journey is suitable for beginners, who have no to little experience, as well as experienced sailors. If you don't have much experience I am happy to show you a bit of what sailing is to me. Common sense and being part of the daily routine on board is pretty much all that's required.
