Dear Shipmates

Introduction

I have been sailing since at least 50 years. My first circumnavigation, as a crew ( deck hand, cook, first mate and skipper) I made when I was 30 years old, okay not quiet, I started in Martinique and ended in Reunion Island 3 years later. So the Atlantic is still on my bucket list.
Been working as a IT technischen, had my family live, got early retirement and now starting to full fill my dream, on my own sailing boat.

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

I'm back again with another boat and getting ready to cruise on. I will soon sailing of from Portugal to Madaira, Tenerife, Cape Verde and Bresil. I will have some family, sailing part-time, with me on this journey.

So I am looking for a good sailing companion first and foremost. If there’s chemistry, I am open to romance with a female partner, but that’s a choice not an expectation. Please be easy going, able/willing to lern and participate on the everyday life and sailing tasks, and can contribute towards the cost of living on a sailboat. You don’t need to have a lot of experience, but you do need to know that you are sea worthy (not prone to sea sickness) and know what living aboard a boat is about. If this sounds like you, you are enthusiastic, eager to learn, adventurous, and love the sea and love to sail beyond the horizon, please contact me!

I just upgraded the boat with a watermaker, solar power and electric cooking. Be aware there is no hot water and the confort of a modern sailboat. It is a solid steel boat ready for remote places and if everything goes well and I find the right crew I would like to sail the Beagle Channel Patagonia. Something trotting in my head for quite a while.

Communication is very important. German is my mother tongue, I'm fluent in French and English (with a strong Swiss accent) :)
