Dear Shipmates

Introduction

Hi There Potential Crew!

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

comfortablevery safeshare experiencevisit remote placesseek adventureface challenges

32 ft. sailboat located in the San Juan Islands, Pacific Northwest, Washington State. This area has a lot of mountains, tall evergreen trees, the ocean, seals, and whales. Google pacific northwest to look at photos.

I’m looking for someone who wants to learn how to sail, navigate, and steer the boat, help with cooking and cleaning. I would do all of this too, we would alternate. We will sail / cruise about 15 days a month, visiting seven marinas and seven anchorages. Includes hiking in the mountains, kayaking, and bike riding, taking photos, and researching area history, all while living on the boat. Marinas have showers, rest rooms, and laundry.

Crew will have cabin upfront. Non-paying position. Expenses on boat paid by me. Weather is cool, 70 degrees in July and August, 65 degrees in September. Water is cold all year, about 45 degrees. Beautiful boat in very good condition. Trip is April 1 - September 1. You would have to fly into Seattle, WA.

A little about me: 20 years in commercial banking, and three years with an airline. B.S. in Business, Associates in Biology / Chemistry / Anthropology.

it would be nice if the crew has some offshore sailing experience. this is not required as one can learn all about the boat in about three - five days.
