Dear Shipmates

Introduction

British Columbia, Canada west coast

About the boat, the plans, and current crew

The boat is a 50' (15.3M) aluminum centreboard cutter. Expected 2024 itinerary: local waters

What is expected of the crew

clean & tidydiligenteasy-goingenthusiasticfit & healthyfriendlyorganisedrespectfultrustworthyconfident swimmerrarely/unlikely seasickgood listenergood communicatortravel light (little luggage)eager to learn & workpoliteLGBTIQA+ respectfulpositive outlookopen mindedsense of humorcan pay own expensesenjoy cookingdon't mind cleaninggood with maintenancecan follow orderswill not bring a bicyclewill not bring a petharmony

Expect good people that like to travel and are able to contribute for minor shared costs. Non smokers only. This is not a charter boat. Age is not a factor but any persons interested should be very fit and have much more than a basic knowledge of sailing. The more experience, the better. Absolutely no drugs on board other than prescription drugs. You should be tidy, always more than willing to help out, of good nature, easy to get along with (much like the captain). If you have skills such as SSB, electronics, mechanics, weather forecasting, all the better. If you would like to learn more about sailing, I'm happy to help.
