We have a pleasure boat hire business on the island of Kefalonia in Greece. The boats are situated in front of our office right next to the beach. We require a pleasant person with good communication skills in order to give instructions on how to use these pleasure boats to tourists throughout the coming summer months. Boat engines vary between 15 and 30 horsepower, with and without steering wheel. The boats leave between 9 and 12 in the morning to explore secluded bays and beaches along the coast. The boats come back usually between 3 and 5 o'clock in the afternoon.

There are 4.30 meter with 15hp engines, and 4.60 & 5.00 meter boats with 30 hp engines with steering wheels. Our life boat is 6 meters and has a 115 hp Engine.

We expect you to instruct the tourists how to use our pleasure boats. Your friendly and pleasant communication skills will be an advantage. Tourists will visit our office and reservations of boat hire are part of the job. There are 11 boats in total and all have to be daily kept in clean condition. You will have to assist them (tourists) to get on board and you will have to teach them briefly but thoroughly how to use our boats and how to use anchor, approach a beach, etc. After their return, the boats will need to be cleaned and refueled for the next day. Before you start your job with us, we will show you how to teach the tourist to use the boats and which useful and important information to give. You will also need to write down reservations if needed. A normal working day is 8 hours, There might be exceptions depending on how busy we are on a particular day. English is a must and Greek, Dutch, Italian or any other European language is a bonus. Being a good swimmer and having knowledge on outboard engines is an advantage as well. A speedboat license is preferred but is not a must. Accommodation is provided by us.
