Dear Shipmates
Introduction
I am living the "Dream".I have been in the Southern Caribbean for 12 years. When not sailing , I spend my time in Prickly Bay, Grenada.
I am in search of a like minded female to enjoy the "cruising" life style.
At the moment I am considering a trip to St John to see if I can lend a hand. I will be watching the weather in late October and early November before making the 60 hour run.
About the boat, the plans, and current crew
usually cleanluxuriousvery safevery spaciousshare experiencefulfill a dreamlive off the grid
I purchased my yacht, a 1999 Fountaine Pajot Bahia, in Tortola in April 2006. I sailed her to The States where I spent 8 months refitting her.
A broker in Tortola said " this is the best Bahia fitted out for cruising" that he had seen. I agree.
She has all the comforts of home. Generator, water maker, solar power, large freezer, fridge, internal wifi, two computers, washing machine, etc
What is expected of the crew
confident swimmerrarely/unlikely seasickgood communicatorrespectfulfriendlypolitepositive outlooktrustworthyopen mindedenthusiasticeasy-goingsense of humor
I expect that a crew person respects the sea and the vessel on which they sail. Their duties will be a sharing of daily sailing and home making tasks.
Crew/companion may be required to swim, snorkel, hike, walk, sunbath, read and toast the sunset.
