Introduction
Back to the corporate world after a sabbatical last year where I worked as crew on a schooner for 4 months and completed a month-long boat delivery/cruise with a wonderful captain on a 50 foot Hanse monohull traveling from New York City to Camden Maine. Along the way, we explored many destinations, remote, islands, and even well-known stops. I logged over 500 nautical miles in this trip, renewing my experience in all things sailing, including navigation, docking, anchoring, mooring, and operation of the boat and dinghy. I am a confident sailor in all weather and conditions and good crew member to help with all aspects of sailing, boat care, maintenance, cooking and more. I did my share of cooking sailing, navigating cleaning, and even diving in to the bilges to problem, solve fix and clean. As the crew and captain will tell you from my previous sail, I’ve never met a stranger. I love to make friends along the way have fun on the boat not take life too seriously except for safety and captains orders. I’m looking to join another boat with light hearted, like-minded people who truly love to sail and enjoy the journey.
