Hello fellow cruisers. The boat is a capable, fast and comfortable world cruiser. She are in a preparation period for more cruising largely driven by my daughter still being in high school. Until she graduates and we cruise further afield, we'll make shorter jaunts into the Caribbean in winter and up the US East Coast in summer. I'm busy with both making upgrades to the boat and building her USA base of operations. A deep water dock with well equipped boat shop for periodic refits, storage, and visits.

The boat is a 64' cutter made to sail across all oceans. She's strongly built and like a ship, ABS certified with an aluminum hull in four watertight sections. She is a real sailing sailboat, that can get going when the wind is light. She's an honest and comfortable little ship. The enclosed pilothouse makes standing watch comfortable in all conditions. All electronics recently upgraded, washer dryer, central heat and AC. We typically carry 3-6 crew in two double and two single cabins. There are two heads and showers. Starlink provides worldwide internet. Despite being made of metal, she is light and caries a full set of sails. Her record is 277nm/day and she routinely averages over 200 nm/day.

I have sailed her from South America and US East Coast over the past six years. Proiopr to Come, I cruised and raced sailboats all my life. I received a (long since expired) US Coast Guard unlimited 50 Ton Master's license with sailing endorsement and all oceans. I held a private airplane pilot's and was a surf sailing instructor on Hobies cats way back when. My university sailing team were US national champs one year I was on the team. I've raced big boats, crossed the Pacific twice in a 40 footer double-hander and was a deckhand on a 144' tall ship one summer studying whales. I'm a degreed whale hugger (BS in marine biology and oceanography), scuba diver, computer nerd/techie, free spirit, DIY type, adventurer and friend.

Crew will have their own bed and must help with cooking, cleaning and standing watch. That includes reefing sails, navigating, and log keeping as well as checking various things that need to be checked. Mainly looking out for ships in the wee hours of the night when you really, really wanting to be asleep. You will enjoy learning new stuff, having fun and trying not be a drag (though we all are sometimes unfortunately).

All expenses on board for food, fuel, moorage, entering country fees etc. are covered by the boat. Crew are responsible for personal expenses when aboard and ashore. That includes getting to and from the boat, excursions, toiletries, medications, clothes and personal gear like rain gear and snorkeling gear. For those who wish, there are always jobs that need doing that go beyond regular crewing obligations. Crew can earn extra money doing things like painting and varnishing, extra cleaning, rope work, etc.

Things need to be clean and orderly because bad stuff can happen quickly. A clean ship is a happy ship. This is not a highly regimented boat, but safety is first. No alcohol underway - so we are ready and alert. This also makes celebrating landfall (or drinks at anchor) more fun for those who wish to partake. Smoking aboard on deck downwind of the crew is tolerated but not encouraged.

You will have plenty of your own space and time without great demands otherwise. The more you put in, the more you get out, but it is mostly up to you. Looking for adventurous souls to share the journey. I am looking for reliable friendly crew excited about sailing, freedom, the beauty of the sea and the cruising life in general. Diving and exploring are frequent activities so great if you are into that, though not required. We carry a sailing dinghy, kite surfer, SUP as well.
